Where are these contracts valid?

Our contracts are designed for U.S.-based businesses. However, we recommend having an attorney review the templates to ensure they meet your specific needs, whether you're in the U.S. or internationally.

Can I use the templates for multiple businesses?

You may use website policies on any business you own. However, contract templates are licensed for single-business use only.

Can I use the website policy templates for my clients?

No, the templates are for your own business use only. If you need a commercial license for use with clients, please reach out to us at hello@theboutiquelawyer.com.

What is your refund policy?

We offer a 7-day refund policy. If you're not satisfied, you can request a refund within 7 days of purchase by emailing us at hello@theboutiquelawyer.com. Please note, refunds will not be granted after this period.

Do I need an attorney to review the templates?

We recommend having an attorney review the contract templates to ensure they align with your business's unique circumstances and local laws especially if you alter any substantive portion of the template.

Why am I being charged sales tax when using Shop Pay?

Shop Pay is a payment method offered by Shopify that, starting January 1, 2025, automatically calculates and collects sales tax on purchases. This process is managed directly by Shopify, following their interpretation of tax regulations.

In some cases, this may result in sales tax being charged even if you’re not typically liable for it. Unfortunately, we cannot disable this feature or override it for Shop Pay transactions.
